Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci

In the Baroque and Rococo eras, people never missed an opportunity to celebrate and dance. The greatest composers were not above providing music for it. A journey from Versailles to Sanssouci with dance music from the palaces and ballrooms of Europe.

The midday concert series with promising newcomers to early music is no longer an insider tip. You can also look forward to high musical expertise and sophisticated program ideas in the third year, when four ensembles compete for the favor of the audience and the jury under the chairmanship of Dorothee Oberlinger: The winner will receive a concert at the 2025 Music Festival as a prize.
