Barock_Plus captivates audiences with its vibrant presence  virtuosic performances. Original arrangements, colourful instrumentation, and a baroque repertoire complemented by works from antiquity and the modern era constitute the unique “plus” of this award-winning ensemble.In 2023, Barock_Plus made a remarkable debut at the göttingen händel competition, winning first prize.

Further distinctions soon followed, including second prize at the International Biagio Marini Competition, as well as third prize and the Audience Award at the Förderpreis des Saarländischen Rundfunks. These successes led to invitations to prestigious festivals such as the Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci, the Originalklang-Festival FEL!X at the Kölner Philharmonie, and the International Handel Festival Göttingen. The following year, the ensemble was awarded a scholarship by the Deutscher Musikwettbewerb and selected for the concert promotion initiative of the German Music Council. In addition, Barock_Plus is regularly featured in radio and television broadcasts.The four musicians draw inspiration from renowned artists such as Maurice Steger, Kristin von der Goltz, Alfredo Bernardini, Jeremias Schwarzer, and Wiebke Weidanz.

Described as a “perfectly balanced ensemble” (Donaukurier), Barock_Plus presents itself to a wide audience with exceptional virtuosity. Through innovative concert formats, interdisciplinary projects, and children’s concerts, the ensemble seeks to cross boundaries and tell the story of early music in a contemporary way.

In 2025, Barock_Plus was honoured with the Bavarian Art Promotion Prize for its bold and compelling reinterpretation of tradition.

Tabea Wink
recorder

Tabea Wink is an internationally acclaimed recorder player. She was awarded the 2025 Deutscher Musikwettbewerb Scholarship as well as the TONALi Scholarship. Among her recent accolades are first prize at the TARF – Early Music Competition in Tel Aviv, the RAM Scholarship in London, and first prize at the ORDA Recorder Competition in Amsterdam as part of the duo energico.

Last year, she recorded her debut CD with pianist Pau Cladera-Marroig in Mallorca.

Tabea is currently studying in the solo class at the University of Music in Nuremberg with Jeremias Schwarzer and Maurice Steger. She previously studied with Annette Berryman in Braunschweig and completed a degree under Pedro Sousa-Silva in Porto.

As a soloist, she has performed with ensembles such as the Staatsorchester Braunschweig, Sinfonia Varsovia, and the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra. Her work has been supported by prestigious foundations, including LYRA, Menuhin’s Live Music Now, and the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.

Marie Sophie Wunder
Recorder

Marie Sophie Wunder is a versatile artist specialising in historical performance practice and contemporary music. She is particularly interested in developing new concert formats and performs in a variety of ensemble configurations.

Having studied with Maurice Steger and Jeremias Schwarzer at the University of Music Nuremberg, Marie went on to refine her skills in Historical Performance Practice under Maurice van Lieshout. She completed her master’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt am Main.

As a recorder player and concert dramaturge, she has received numerous awards, including first prize at the Hugo Competition for new concert formats with her interdisciplinary ensemble fraktale, and second prize at the international Goodmesh Competition with her ensemble emergenz. In 2019, performing as duo energico with Tabea Wink, she was awarded first prize and the Royal Wind Music Prize at the international ORDA Competition in Amsterdam.

Anna Maria Rudolph
Baroque Cello 

Anna Maria Rudolph is known for her versatility: sensitivity, creativity, and a fine sense of humour make her a sought-after orchestral musician, chamber music partner, and respected cello teacher. She studied modern cello with Gustav Rivinius and Leonid Gorokhov, won third prize at the International Cello Competition in Liezen, and has performed with renowned orchestras. She has been a permanent member of the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra since 2024.

Her passion for historically informed performance led her to pursue a master’s degree in Baroque cello with Jan Kunkel at the University of Music in Nuremberg. She has gained valuable experience working with artists such as Jörg Halubek, Reinhard Goebel, and Kristin von der Goltz, and is a founding member of Nürnberg Barock.

In addition to her artistic training, Anna completed studies in instrumental and elementary music education. She is also involved in designing concerts for children and babies as part of Barock_Plus.

Dominik Heidl
Harpsichord

As a pianist and harpsichordist, Dominik Heidl is distinguished by his versatile musical education and his deep commitment to historical performance practice. After completing his secondary education, he attended the vocational music school in Plattling, graduating with honours, where he studied piano with Hildegard Schwammberger.

In 2015, he began studies in the piano class of the Austrian pianist and composer Franz Vorraber at the Wiesbaden Music Academy, successfully completing the programme in 2019. In 2020, Dominik turned his focus to the harpsichord, studying with Wiebke Weidanz at the University of Music in Nuremberg, while also expanding his expertise in fortepiano with Aurelia Visovan. In January 2024, he recorded the world premiere of a suite by the Nuremberg composer Johann Graf with his orchestra, Nürnberg Barock, in collaboration with Bayerischer Rundfunk.
