“Note by note, scarcely struck, it already fades and flows away…”

Just as Hermann Hesse speaks of the transience of music, our interpretation on the theme of breath touches upon impermanence: through breath, something becomes reality and then fades away again. Breath is, therefore, the fundamental substance of all sensory perceptions and thus the basis of all metaphysical existence.

To the works of Turini, Handel, Williams, and others, the artist Maximilian Reubel will create live paintings with water on the overhead projector. Music, words, and visual interaction form a symbiosis that expresses the diversity of breath.

Take a deep breath and look forward to a Baroque concert experience with that special “Plus.”
